THE ROLE:
Join our dynamic Advanced Reliability Test team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of AMD's cutting-edge products. In this role, you'll perform reliability testing for ASICs, Modules, and Boards across a wide range of products, including:
- Data Center/Server CPUs and GPUs
- Networking/Smart NIC DPUs
- Client/Desktop CPUs and APUs
- Automotive-Grade SOCs and FPGAs
You'll work closely with our Global Operations & Quality and design/platform teams to set up and execute tests, analyze results, and report on the reliability of our products. If you're passionate about quality assurance and working with groundbreaking technology, we encourage you to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reliability Testing and Assessment: Plan, execute, and optimize New Product Introduction (NPI) reliability tests for AMD's cutting-edge products. This includes assessing mechanical, thermal, and electrical stress factors, and designing environmental stress tests to simulate application conditions.
- Functional Testing and Fault Analysis: Lead team to conduct comprehensive functional testing to evaluate system performance. Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot faults, performing root cause analysis (RCA) on failures to implement corrective actions for design and process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to align reliability goals with product requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform RCA on failures found during testing.
- Documentation and Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and maintain meticulous records of all reliability testing for future reference and continuous improvement. Validate and maintain test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers in both technical and professional development to foster their growth and contribute to the team's overall success.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
