THE ROLE: 

Do you have a passion for SoC development and customer engagement? We are looking for a Silicon Evaluation Lead, someone who will be technically guiding System on a Chip development efforts for productization of semi-custom SoCs and platforms.

THE PERSON:

Confident leader able to self-navigate the technical challenges and executive communications required to align teams throughout AMD's SoC development. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.

 


KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Accountable for debug for design issues and customer observation
  • Identifying technology and feature risk areas. Accountable for development and execution of mitigation plans
  • Specifying technology metrics and breakthroughs for pre and post Silicon status
  • Ownership of product bounding box attainment which requires managing execution of Product Engineering, Firmware, Power, Performance and Thermal teams through planning, execution and debug to achieve optimal SoC power/performance


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 8-12 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Familiarity with all Design areas and tools and validated understanding of design/technology interactions
  • SOC emulation experience and model development with a good understanding of computer organization/architecture
  • Experience in SoC Power management and Power/Performance attainment
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
  • Proficient presentation, collaboration and communications skills are required

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
