THE ROLE: 

The Circuit Technologies group within Central Engineering is looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage our central automation infrastructure within the organization.  This individual will be critical in advancing our automation, data visualization, and data reporting capabilities as well as partnering with other groups within central engineering to identify areas for synergy and collaboration.

 

This person will work closely with engineering and operations to architect an infrastructure and reporting framework targeted as increasing overall efficiency and productivity for design teams.  In addition, the work this individual will lead will be critical for executive level reporting in a number areas including, but not limited to, execution metrics, long range IP planning, and defect management.

 

THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for solving tough, sometimes ambiguous problems and thrives in a challenging environment.  As an experienced engineer, they will also be expected to architect and drive solutions to issues with the support and guidance of management and peers.  They should be a strong communicator and one that is able to collaborate across various disciplines to share, drive, and implement what is needed for the organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Will work across multiple domains (engineering, operations, etc.) to plan, execute, and implement what is needed for the organization
  • Focus on data infrastructure management in the areas of data reporting and visualization
  • Expected to work closely with IT and CAD
  • Work to bridge back-end database infrastructure (i.e. Agile) with solutions for engineering and operations

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Good understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect management 
  • Demonstrated project and program management leadership success
  • Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented and results-oriented 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with multiple people and teams, ability to communicate progress to team members on a regular basis 
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and competing priorities and tight turnaround times 
  • Experience in generating automated solutions for data reporting and visualization through PowerBI
  • Experience in *SQL, SAS, and other infrastructure tools/capabilities

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
