THE ROLE:

Software development engineer on teams building and optimizing AI libraries for AMD GPU compute platforms.

THE PERSON:

In this role you will be developing in the key library for AI workloads. You are someone that has insight into performance analysis/optimizations, and strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, optimize, profiling, analysis AI operations on AMD GPU
• Deliver high-quality code with open-source software
• Work with key technical specialists across AMD and with our partners and customers to improve libraries

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent in C/C++ and parallel programming, and software design skills including debugging, performance analysis and test design
• Knowledge of GPU computing (CUDA, HIP, OpenCL) is a plus
• Having understanding of deep learning workloads is a plus
• Having understanding of GPU, DSP, or any of AI accelerators is a plus
• Having low-level optimization techniques, such as assembly programming experience is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Master's or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
