To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Dundalk, Ireland.
Reporting to the Quality Manager IE, the Quality Engineer role will be part of an excellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative. You will plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications, whilst communicating with suppliers all identified issues to achieve Permanent Corrective Action Response.
What a typical day looks like:
Drive Continual Process Improvement through a Cross-Functional Approach, evaluate processes to eliminate quality risks whilst investigating product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external compliance requirements
Analysis of Internal Production Data using Quality Tools (Statistical Analysis, FMEA, Error Proofing) to drive Production / Quality Continual Improvement Programs
Participate in the Audit Program (Internal & External) to drive compliance
Investigation and NCAR management, including robust Root Cause Analysis
Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation
Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes Maintain Production Elements of the Quality Management System
Map Processes, draft Control Plans, and implement Action Plans identifying Critical to Quality Aspects
Drive Document Control Compliance by reviewing / approving documents throughout internal functions and processes
Coordinate Internal Defect Data with the Training Department to determine and develop training requirements
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Relevant third level qualification and significant experience in a similar role
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Qualification
Green Belt (or higher) qualification would be an advantage
Problem solver, disciplined in collecting information, ascertaining root cause of issues, Identifying, and implementing practical & effective solutions.
Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools with experience in Risk Management Documentation (FMEA, GR&R, MSA)
Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version-control procedures, and defect management processes
Proficient Microsoft office user (including Sharepoint and Teams)
Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills
