Summary of Position:

Responsible for answering guest inquires, billing Fitness Club & Golf Club memberships, monthly billing of revolving accounts, as well as other related duties as outlined by the Credit Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with Reservations on reconciling travel agent accounts on a regular basis and generate a bi-monthly check run to pay travel agents on commissionable guests.
  • Bill Fitness & Golf memberships on a monthly basis.
  • Keep the Fitness & Golf memberships updated in Club software.
  • Promptly answer telephones with clear English communication. Using good listening skills and patience interpret and assist the guest with their challenges. Ability to describe folio charges, and research guest challenges quickly and accurately. Negotiate any compromise with guest using a positive and diplomatic manner.
  • Post deposits and guest payments in to the Property Management System. · Respond to all chargebacks from credit card companies.
  • Invoice and reconcile various receivable accounts for wholesalers and preferred accounts. · Daily charging of no-show charges.
  • Assist the Front Desk with clearing any checked out balances from Property Management System.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma Required.

Experience: Previous hospitality experience preferred. Need general knowledge of Windows environment. Springer Miller Systems knowledge preferred but not required

Certificates or Licenses: No special licenses required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with vendors and fellow employees
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read English and perform simple math.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a Windows based system.
