The Lead Care Manager plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality resident care by serving as a team leader, trainer, and frontline caregiver. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about mentorship, thrives in a hands-on leadership role, and has strong organizational and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling: Help create and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of care.
Leadership: Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance, motivation, and accountability.
Training & Orientation: Conduct new hire orientation, hands-on training, and ongoing retraining to ensure staff competency and compliance with community standards.
Working the Floor: Actively assist with resident care as needed, setting the standard for service delivery.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, track training and certification compliance, and assist with audits and quality assurance tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with the care team, wellness director, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
