Job Description

A Program Manager at BAE Systems will play a critical role in assisting Government Program Managers in the day-to-day planning and execution activities of the ground mechanical branch. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing meeting support, managing schedules, overseeing activities, providing regulatory and statutory documentation support, managing teams and personnel while performing other tasks as needed. The Program Manager will employ critical path methods and baseline disciplines, assist in developing and performing Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA), and ensure the development, evaluation, and validation of assigned resources and associated time phasing within baseline, estimate, budget, and funding constraints. This role will also involve defining relationships among acquisition phases, decision milestones, solicitations, contract awards, design reviews, contract deliveries, test and evaluation activities, production releases, operational deployment objectives, etc. The Program Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to develop the program schedule and export schedules as needed for the program office as well as the ground mechanical division.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

- Minimum 15 years of MMIII ICBM related experience.
- Working knowledge of IMDS.
- Self-directed and works independently.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method and baseline disciplines.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
-Well organized and drives tasks to closure.



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Regulatory and Statutory documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.



Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
