The Program Product Support Specialist is a key member of the support team and will provide enhanced asset management and material tracking. The selected candidate will provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets in production in advance of customer delivery, while in the field, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade as items are moved between locations or facilities. Accounting includes manual inventory, electronic tracking and management to maintain and balance inventory stock levels, and providing asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination to each member of the program/customer team. The individual will:
• Be detail oriented, inquisitive and capable of acting independently to respond to requests
• Able to provide data driven answers to inquiries in support of program audits
• Enhances organizational effectiveness by documenting identified metrics and lessons learned, and able to efficiently report this information
• Possess sound communication skills and support engineering and program teams by mining data sources and may
be required to report information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
•Able to make inquiries in online databases for purposes of collecting and processing data, tracking items, and processing related information
•Demonstrate flexibility and follow-through when performing tasks to ensure completion
•Ability to collect, manage, and track Government Furnished Equipment / Government Furnished Material to/from various locations CONUS/OCONUS loctions, following company policies and program plan/procedures
•Issue, receive, transfer, redistribute, or dispose of tracked assets as required
•Strong interpersonal skills that maintain a positive work environment
Preferred Skills and Education
•Familiar with support applications/databases including MS Access, Excel, TIPQA, and EPDM.
•Understanding of US government databases such as Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), WEB-Commercial Asset Visibility (WEB-CAV), the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS), and the Item Unique Identification (IUID) registry•Experience with formal data reporting and inventory requirements in support of contract close-out activities
