This Role Involves a Combination of Collaborative / In Person and Independent Work and Will Therefore Take the Form of a Hybrid Work Format With Time Split Between Working On Site (HUDSON, NH) and Remotely.

Exciting Opportunity For a Senior Principal Subcontract Administrator To Join the SAS (Signal Analysis System) Team and Support the United States Navy.

The SAS Program Is Situated Within the C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) Business Area and Tactical Systems Product Line.

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL: Become An Integral Member of a Cross Functional Program Team Responsible For Leading the Performance of Critical Subcontract Suppliers

  • You Will Manage a Busy Portfolio Including Support To Production and Depot As Well As Engineering Services

  • You Will Have An Opportunity To Support a Large Multi Year Production Proposal

  • You Will Be Responsible For Issuing Subcontractor Solicitations and Analyzing Proposals Through Price Analysis and Cost Analysis

  • You Will Be Responsible For High Dollar Negotiations On Work Scope and Price As Well As Terms & Conditions

  • You Will Be Responsible For Preparing Subcontract Packages and Associated Compliance Related Documents For Review

  • You Will Lead Regular Meetings With Suppliers To Monitor and Manage Performance In Accordance With Program Needs

  • You Will Be Responsible For Developing and Maintaining Professional and Collaborative Supplier Relationships

  • You Will Have An Opportunity To Visit Supplier Facilities

  • You Will Be Faced With Challenging Issues and An Opportunity To Work Together With Other Functions Toward a Solution

  • You Will Support Bi Weekly Program Managment Meetings To Provide Status To the Broader Program Team

  • You Will Support Monthly Risk & Opportunity Meetings As Well As Quarterly Supply Chain Strategy Meetings

  • You Will Support Monthly Earned Value Management Reporting Relative To Labor and Materials



Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education / Certifications/ Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of working experience in procurement or subcontracts.
Associate's degree with at least 8 years in procurement or subcontracts.

Required Skills:

  • Experience Leading Major Procurement Efforts In a Department of Defense (DOD) Contracting Environment.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills and Attention To Detail

  • Excellent Time Management Skills and Ability To Work Proactively

  • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) and Ability To Concisely Explain Complex Subjects

  • Ability To Collaborate With a Cross Functional Team Including Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Contracts

  • Ability To Lead Effective and Efficient Meetings Both With Internal Stakeholders As Well As Subcontractors



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Education / Certifications:
Graduate Degree

Preferred Experience:
10 Years or More of Directly Related Work Experience Preferably In a Government Contracting Environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency With Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)

  • Proficiency With Oracle ERP

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR Regulations and the Nature of Flow Down Requirements

  • Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)

  • Experience Supporting Large Multi Year Proposal Efforts

  • Familiarity With Subcontractor Statements of Work

  • Comprehensive Understanding of Subcontractor Solicitations and Bid Analysis

  • Experience With Price Analysis and Cost Analysis (COPD & CID)

  • Experience Negotiating Subcontract Provisions Including Work Scope and Price As Well As Terms & Conditions

  • Experience Preparing Subcontract Packages and Associated Compliance Related Documents For Review

  • Experience Monitoring and Managing Subcontractor Performance To Align With Program Needs

  • Ability To Find Creative Win - Win Solutions To Complex Problems

  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and Lifecycle Management

  • Ability To Identify and Assess Risks & Opportunities Throughout the Duration of the Programs



Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
