Job Description
The selected candidate will provide oversight to installation/repair teams completing US Navy combat and communication system ship alterations and repairs. Responsibilities include thorough ship checks to determine scope of work and to determine potential conflicts between installation drawings and actual shipboard configuration. Will ensure installations are completed in a timely manner in accordance with US Navy standards. Build material lists from official drawings and coordinate to ensure required material is ordered and received in a timely manner. Coordinate with various activities to ensure proper scheduling of services and resolve installation issues. Conduct briefs and attend meetings.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least 10 years of related experience OR Associate degree and at least 6 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience
Ability to read and interpret US Navy installation drawings, technical manuals, and schematic drawings
Ability to work in an industrial environment and wear all required safety equipment
Previous installation/repair experience on a US Navy ship or similar platform
Ability to interface with senior and junior personnel
Familiarity with NAVSEA Standards

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Former US Navy ET / IT
Previous experience installing and testing shipboard electronic systems
Previous experience with Regional Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office processes



Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66700 - $113400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
