If so, this Talent Marketing and Social Media Specialist role might be the next step in your career. We're looking for an experienced communications or HR professional to support our employer branding efforts. This role will support our talent marketing & attraction efforts and will join our Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise.
In this role, you'll be telling the story of what it's like to work at BAE Systems through the social media lens. You'll be creating content to celebrate our employees, share our company values, and give candidates a glimpse into our culture, as well as reviewing and managing the content calendar of some of our social media channels.
You'll be joining a dynamic team, with a wide breadth of opportunity grow your digital media skills as you highlight life at BAE Systems across different channels.

What you'll work on:

  • Social Media
    • Work closely with our content contributors across the organization to review their posts, and manage the content calendar for our careers-related social media channels using Hootsuite, our social media management platform;
    • Create promotional content centered around what it's like to work at BAE Systems to support ongoing Talent Acquisition priorities, career events, and other initiatives;
    • Create images, video, and other media alongside relevant teams to support posted content;
    • Develop data and ROI approach to measure and optimize content performance, channel growth, and conversion tracking;
    • Provide social recruiting and job marketing training for key audiences.
  • Marketing
    • Support key stakeholders across the business to design campaigns (both paid and organic), and provide data to help them measure performance;
    • Create landing pages for our external careers site to support ongoing job marketing campaigns;
    • Facilitate the creation of marketing materials with key partners across our business, graphic design, and other stakeholders;
    • Support job marketing efforts, on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Employer Brand
    • Bring our employer and company brands to life through content creation, including the updating of content across multiple channels, the creation of new resources, and updating of materials;
    • Manage Canto, our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform to categorize, organize, and maintain our images, video, and other resources;
    • Maintain content for our internal careers site using Phenom's CMS tool;
    • Work closely with Outreach teams to support career event and programs promotion;
    • Help with ad hoc projects, team organization and other tasks as needed (i.e., other duties as assigned).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience;
  • Previous experience in communications, recruiting, or HR;
  • Strong verbal communicator and writer;
  • Understanding of candidate marketing concepts and principles; how to publish material in social media; in-depth knowledge of social media platforms;
  • Ability to work independently under general direction – plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives;
  • Be creative and resourceful;
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions and be agile;
  • Project juggler, good follow-up abilities and strong organizational skills;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • People person and be able to create relationship channels with senior internal and external team members for collaboration across functions;
  • Enjoy working as a team, but also owning and taking pride in your independent projects;
  • Basic Adobe suite, Canva, and media creation knowledge.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, HR, PR or communications;
  • Previous PR, communications or marketing experience;
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and methods;
  • Advanced Adobe creative suite or media creation skills.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
