Summary and Qualifications:

Responsible for the planning, management and execution of Talent Acquisition related events and professional meetings supporting employer of choice and building talent pipelines.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Lead end to end management of events including planning, program management, stakeholder engagement, vendor relationships, systems management, speaker outreach and prep, logistics, curation and content development, marketing, execution, and post event analytics.
  • Map overall success and maximize ROI of events by consistently evaluating metrics, providing insight-based recommendations for actions to continue refining strategy and approach.
  • Manage attendee preparation activities and execution during events.
  • Provide training and communication for field and hospitals staff participating in TA supported events.
  • Partner with employer branding and creative services to develop and execute pre-event and post event marketing.
  • Partner with sourcing team to execute pre and post conference communications to drive recruitment outcomes.
  • Partner with external vendors on program execution maintaining operational excellence.
  • Report out on success and opportunities of each event.
  • Sourcing, creation and tracking of conference marketing materials and swag.
  • Track budget and forecast future spend.
  • Other tasks include landing page creation (through CRM), purchase order requests, track and submit contracts.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • This role requires 30% travel.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time. 
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or a related field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Three years of Event Management experience are required.
  • Talent Acquisition experience is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Healthcare background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.
