Bassett is seeking a full-time remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Primary Care Service Line with opportunity for on-site work if desired.
Bassett Healthcare Network is a fully integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. They remain a leader in providing the highest quality Virtual Care and are adding this position to continue supporting their Virtual First initiative.
Bassett relies heavily on Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) and continues to be on the forefront of allowing APCs to work at the top of their license while valuing them as welcome members of the Medical Staff. As part of this effort, they have multiple APC's in their leadership structure including the Medical Director of Telehealth overseeing this position. Job Descriptions & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of community based family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physicians specializing in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics to provide patient care via virtual platforms
- The Bassett Healthcare Primary Care Service Line operates over thirty Patient-Centered Medical Home practices that are recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement.
- Provide patient access to acute medical care, chronic disease management and preventive services through telemedicine or with hybrid virtual and in person practice.

- Salary Range: $93,636 - $120,329. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standard
- Sign-on Bonus up to $20,000

Job Qualifications:
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Primary Care
- This position requires access to high-speed internet, a windows-based computer/laptop to conduct video visits and a “sterile environment” free of distractions and in private setting
