The Control-M product line is BMC's orchestration and automation platform. It helps the world's largest companies to automate time-sensitive, business-critical workflows. We orchestrate data and machine learning pipelines, supply chains, production lines, financial transactions, and other processes in complex IT environments worldwide. We continuously grow by adding and implementing the most cutting-edge technologies, conducting innovative Just Do It marathons, thinking about new features to add and investing in our employee training programs! BMC is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative DevOps team.
In this role, you will develop the Control-M CI/CD system. This team plays a critical role in the infrastructure development of our worldwide leading workload automation product (Control-M), enabling the world's largest companies to automate their applications/services.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
• Developing CI/CD infrastructure that serves ~30 R&D teams. • Acting as a focal point for R&D teams on all CI/CD aspects. • Maintaining existing CI/CD systems and pipelines. • Writing scripts in Python, Groovy, Bash, and Perl to automate DevOps functions.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skill set and experience:
• At least 4-5 years of experience as a CI/CD Engineer/DevOps. • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps technologies using tools such as: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, GIT, Helm, etc. • Ability to run and evolve complex CI/CD processes. • Operational and troubleshooting knowledge in Linux and Windows • Strong drive to adopt modern technologies • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent – advantage
