Our work environment allows you to balance your priorities, because we know you will bring your best every day. We will champion your wins and shout them from the rooftops. Your peers will inspire, drive, support you, and make you laugh out loud! We help our customers free up time and space to become an Autonomous Digital Enterprise that conquers the opportunities ahead - and are relentless in the pursuit of innovation! We're looking for a junior UX Associate Product Manager who brings a strong dose of imagination and creativity to the table - someone excited about shaping the future of digital experiences. This is an ideal role for a graphic designer or visual storyteller who wants to grow into a product management career.
In this role, you'll be designing user-centric interfaces and prototypes for Control-M, BMC's enterprise workflow orchestration platform, and contributing fresh, innovative ideas at the earliest stages of product ideation and requirement gathering. Your visual storytelling skills will help bring clarity to complex workflows and turn technical concepts into engaging, intuitive user journeys.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, presales and product marketing leads to simplify complexity and present both the product and its value in ways that resonate with users. From early-stage concepts to polished visuals, your contributions will influence how our product is seen, understood, and experienced by customers.
This is a junior-level role with mentorship and growth opportunities to evolve into a Product Manager or Product Designer depending on your strengths and interests.

What You'll Do:
  • Design user-centric UX flows, wireframes, and imaginative prototypes for Control-M interfaces, contributing creative ideas throughout the design process.
  • Support early-stage product ideation by visualizing future-state concepts, mockups, and storytelling-driven designs.
  • Develop forward-looking design prototypes for strategic initiatives that align with long-term product vision.
  • Translate rough ideas into polished visuals and presentations to communicate product value and direction effectively.
  • Conduct UX research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product, presales, and marketing teams to bring clarity to complex workflows and maintain visual consistency across product and brand.
  • Create and enhance product decks, vision slides, and demo flows using tools like PowerPoint or Figma, while evolving the visual design system to ensure a modern UI.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally for SaaS or B2B enterprise products (internships or freelance work count)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates UX thinking, polished UI design, and visual storytelling (presentation decks, design flows, etc.)
  • Familiarity with complex platform design (e.g., dashboards, workflow tools, enterprise software), or a strong desire to learn it
  • Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Advanced PowerPoint (or similar) skills – capable of creating clear, visually appealing decks that communicate ideas effectively
  • Basic understanding of UX research and usability testing practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – especially working with PMs, engineers, and marketers
  • High attention to detail, strong visual intuition, and a user-first mindset with creative thinking
  • Fluent English, verbal and written

Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with data orchestration, MLOps, and enterprise workflow orchestration
  • Experience participating in product ideation or cross-functional design sprints
  • Exposure to product management principles or an interest in growing toward a PM role
  • Exposure to data-heavy UX design (e.g., dashboards, logs, monitoring views)
  • Motion/interaction design or branding experience
