Bon Secours Neurocritical Care team in Richmond, Virginia has an opportunity for a Neurointerventional Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join their team!
The primary responsibility of the Neurocritical care Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) is assessment and medical management of adult neurological patients admitted to the adult medical-surgical intensive care unit within the specified facility.
The NP will utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess patients and manage all aspects of care. They will communicate clinical issues to the physicians as appropriate, write orders according to standardized procedures/protocols, perform daily patient-care rounds, and facilitate arrangements for discharge/transfer. The NP will collaborate with the care team to coordinate and manage the process of patient care from the point of admission to the hospital, through discharge and hand-off to an outpatient care provider to ensure continuity of care where applicable.
