Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Coordinator of Football Operations position. The Coordinator of Football Operations supports the daily function of the football staff, office and program. The position will primarily report to the Head Football Coach and be responsible for the organization of on campus recruiting initiatives, database and workflow management, and planning and implementing successful campus visits. This role will directly support the office and staff in financial functions including ordering, processing payments, supporting reimbursement requests.  The position will also provide support with program video needs, organization of program events and recruiting content development and distribution.

Education and Experience

♦ Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

♦ 1-3 years of experience working in College Athletics

♦ Prior experience with Workday, preferred

♦ Competency and experience with graphic design and video editing, preferred.

♦ Computer expertise and continued interest in maintaining skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,  PowerPoint, and Google suite applications including, but not limited to, email, calendaring, internet research,  document, sheets, and Google site creation.

• Fundamental accounting skills helpful.

• Ability and competency in graphic design and video editing skills helpful.

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills. 

• Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.

• Initiative and judgment to independently problem solve and prioritize.

• Ability to think and act independently, as well as a member of a team, and handle competing priorities in a fast paced office environment.

• The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background and Education checks satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.

All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations. The duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations, and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties.  Employees in coaching positions must pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test, maintain current AED/CPR & First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the division), and attend all required divisional and/or NCAA training/education programs.
