Description

We are currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Project and Communications Analyst I in the Member Services Department.  This position will report to the Director of Member Programs.

Position Summary:  Supports Member Services organization through coordination of project support and planning, report development, and some administrative tasks.  Will be responsible for maintaining member data, summarizing meetings through written reports, and providing analytical support as required. Supports Load Management actives as required. Provides support related to Member directed marketing and communication activities. Supports Senior staff through the coordination of Central communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Attend Member Working Groups and Cooperative Program meetings and provide written reports.
  2. Collect and maintain member program and cooperative data, providing necessary documentation.
  3. Develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders using effective oral and written communication skills.
  4. Provide analytical support related to customer programs, utility rates, and utility billing.
  5. Support various projects as required of the Member Services organization. Projects include but are not limited to:
    1. Residential Appliance Saturation Survey
    2. Economic impact research
    3. Integrated Resource Plan
    4. RUS reporting requirements
    5. EIA reporting requirements
  6. Prepare routine reports and presentation on an on-going basis with a high attention to detail.
    1. Member working team presentations and reports
    2. Board Committee presentations and reports
  7. Provide administrative support as may be needed and performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, in areas including but not limited to:
    1. Member annual meeting
    2. Monthly billing
    3. Contract Management
  8. Support Member Services functions by;
    1. Assisting Load Management and Member Services teams during peak events
    2. Conducting surveys
    3. Staying informed of Member issues
    4. Communicating issues to Senior Staff
    5. Interfacing and coordinating with Statewide and other organizations
  9. Communications support
    1. Assist in preparation of Central newsletter, Central website, and Central LinkedIn page, or other communication channels as may be utilized
    2. As directed, attend various meetings to ensure understanding of key communication requirements
    3. Act as the liaison with external experts on communications and messaging
    4. Coordinate messaging and awareness efforts through appropriate communication channels
    5. Manage corporate presentation template

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience in project management and working with teams with diverse backgrounds and positions.

Strong written and oral communications skills, with experience in report writing.

Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Understanding of utility rates, economic development, and/or other Cooperative utility services and programs is a plus.

Education and Work Experience

Associates degree or higher education.

Experience with the electric utility industry is a plus.
