  What You will do
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, announcements, and participating in trade shows and conferences. 
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate services, explain services and service features. 
  • Recommend products/services to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Responsible for working with Engineering, Accounting, Materials, and Production to provide customer quotes, warranties, contract terms and delivery dates.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales effort
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
  • Work with customers, suppliers and other departments/employees to provide solutions for customer issues.
  • Confer with customers by telephone, email or in person in order to provide information about products and services.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to show high and low usage on parts for customers.
  • Identify new opportunities for revenue and improved service.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  • Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related discipline preferred.

  • Two (2) – Four (4) years of previous sales experience

  • Two (2) – Four (4) years of successful customer relations experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professionalism, self-assured in a variety of settings.

  • Requires effective relationship management skills with co-workers in a team environment and with customers in a sales and support context.

  • Engage and support the company's safety culture and efficient operation of the business and maintain positive working relationships with employees across the organization.

  • Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.

  • Must be extremely reliable, responsible, dependable, to fulfill obligations.

  • Requires the desire to expand personal competencies and capabilities through training and education.

  • Computer literacy/experience required.  Must be proficient in Windows environments. Working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and e-mail.

  • Must have valid driver's license for travel requirements
