POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position will assist the Materials Department in various aspects of material usage and storage. Primary Responsibilities are inventory accuracy, receiving product and warehouse organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular inventory verification/cycle counts based on usage report.
- Put away and locate parts.
- Warehouse organization.
- Accurately receive and identify all inbound products.
- Identify and size needed ancillary parts for unit assembly
- Attention to detail
- Deliver parts between production and warehouse and post inventory movements in ERP.
- Operate material moving equipment; fork-truck, hand-truck, stand up lift-truck
- Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
- Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- Work attendance must be exemplary.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and off-load trucks.
- Responsible for all area housekeeping.
- Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
