Description

JOB PURPOSE: The Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition team with administrative duties, such as screening hiring packages, auditing salary worksheets, and creating offer letters.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with all administrative recruitment processes.
  • Provides timely support to assigned schools for offer letters and onboarding requests.
  • Monitors offer letter request database and supports all schools as needed.
  • Works pro-actively to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Notifies supervisors of challenges in a timely manner so issues can be resolved with minimal impact to CSUSA stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with all members of the Talent Acquisition and HR teams to assess departmental needs and provide support.
  • Advertise employment opportunities on internal and external job boards, including university job boards and third-party sites.
  • Screen candidates against job descriptions and update vacancy's and applicant status within the recruitment process
  • Assist candidates with the application process, questions and password resets
  • Completes CSUSA onboarding process including required HR criteria, state/federal compliance requirements, I-9's, background checks and HRIS system database and information.
  • Assist with conducting reference checks prior to offer of employment.
  • Prepares various reports as needed.
  • Liaise between talent acquisition team members, hiring managers, and candidates to schedule interviews.
  • Work with applicants to provide updates on their progress in onboarding.
  • Designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentations, etc.
  • Communicate with Managers throughout all steps of process.
  • Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Answer inquiries from internal employees regarding employment opportunities.
  • Adheres to assigned performance metrics.
  • Cultivates external relationships with networking and internal relationships with key functional stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Experience in Recruitment and/or HR Administration
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System's preferred
  • Sense of urgency; ability to assess and meet priorities through good time management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working ADP, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn is highly desirable

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

  • Usual office working conditions.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • No physical exertion required.
  • Travel within or outside of state.
  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is nonexempt subject to the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Charter Schools USA's policy.
