Role Overview: 2nd Shift Production Worker
As a vital component of our manufacturing operations, you'll be instrumental in producing high-quality food items for Holiday Station Stores.
Core Responsibilities:
- Efficiently assemble, wrap, label, and package products, emphasizing excellence.
- Uphold a clean and streamlined workspace.
- Alternate between various tasks and production lines as needed.
- Promptly alert the chain of command to product or equipment issues that could impact quality.
- Strictly adhere to compliance measures, including USDA, FDA, OSHA, and state-specific regulations.
What We Expect:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Capability to follow basic verbal directives and read product labels.
- Dependable and flexible, with a willingness to work Saturdays.
Physical Demands:
- Routine lifting of 5-pound objects and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Agility in performing repetitive motions involving twisting and reaching.
- Ability to stand for the full length of your shift in a 35 to 40-degree Fahrenheit workspace.
Decision-Making:
Authorized to cease line operations for immediate safety or quality concerns.
Educational Criteria:
While no set educational requirements exist, a high school diploma or equivalent is favored. Limited work experience is acceptable, as we offer comprehensive training.
