We are currently seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect who has a strong understanding of Azure services, particularly administrating Azure Storage Account, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub, Web Application Firewall, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid and Azure Key Vault. The ideal candidate will be skilled in network isolation, monitoring, security, and backup. The primary responsibility will be Architecting our Azure environment, ensuring the system's performance, and compliance with all relevant policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders and translate business requirements into designs for Azure solutions that align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.
• Working closely with application, network and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design.
• Provide technical direction and lead a group of Admins addressing a common goal.
• Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.
• Develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations.
• Manage Azure Networking, including private endpoints, firewalls, and VNet injection with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Power BI Gateway and other azure services.
• Design and Implementation of Azure DevOps CI/CD process.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines focusing on security and performance.
• Administrate Azure Storage Account, Azure Key Vault, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub, Web Application Firewall, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
• Utilize Azure Monitor and logs for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Manage Azure Backups and Azure Site Recovery for business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for access management.
• Handle Azure Security, Firewalls, and Network Security Group (NSG).
• Oversee the operation of Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Service, and Power BI Data Gateway.
• Apply and enforce required Azure Policy and ensure system compliance and governance.
• Implement and manage Azure Policies, ensuring system compliance with organizational standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management or related technical fields, Master degree preferred
• 10+ Years of proven experience in managing Infrastructure architecture as an Azure Cloud Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in azure cloud services
• Comfortable with the administration of Azure Storage Account, Azure Key Vault, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub, Web Application Firewall, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
• Experience and skill in network isolation, monitoring, security, and backup.
• Proficient knowledge of Azure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, and Security.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Service, Power BI Data Gateway, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management, and CosmosDB.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VNet, private endpoints, and firewalls.
• Knowledge and experience in areas outlined in AZ-100, AZ-700, and AZ-500 exams; Azure certification not required but is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
