Senior Manager, Sales Leadership and Operations

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Our office in Stockholm, Copenhagen or Oslo

THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Global Director Sales & Commercial Excellence Transformation within our Commercial Development team, Senior Manager of Sales Leadership and Operations will be responsible for driving the transformation to our global sales and commercial excellence agenda, optimizing our sales operating model and building strong sales leadership capabilities. The role will involve analyzing best practices, identifying gaps in the sales operation, overseeing sales operations, utilizing data analytics and lead CRM initiatives. This entail optimization of our operation related to marketing, sales, and customer engagement to enhance our competitiveness, revenue performance and profitability. The role will have key responsibility for our commercial operating agenda across our global B2B operations in US and Europe. The responsibilities will span various aspects and business critical transformations to improve our sales operation across our global footprint.

You will lead a team of highly competent colleagues to support our local sales teams in US and Europe. In the position you will be working closely with our sales teams to identify customer needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that drives customer satisfaction and sales efficiencies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

Here are ways that you'll help make journeys better:  

  • Lead a team of sales operation and excellence colleagues.

  • Lead the global sales and commercial excellence agenda by analyzing and documenting best practices in the Business Units, identifying gaps in the sales operation, and implementing new and more effective ways of working.

  • Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.

  • Implement and optimize sales processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Utilize data analytics tools to gain insights into sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies.

  • Lead initiatives to ensure CRM solutions and sales tools are fully aligned with the sales operating vision.

  • Lead training initiatives to our sales organization for Sales Leadership way of working and new sales leadership methods.

  • Assist Business Unit sales teams with ongoing sales process and customer engagement support.

  • Identify and define new digital solutions & systems that is required to lead our sales process transformation into an even more impactful digital engagement with our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Experience in an international sales environment, with the ability to analyze and identify sales best practices and development requirements based on concrete sales and support experience.

  • Proven work experience in a sales leadership position and/or senior commercial excellence role, with experience working with CRM solutions (preferably Salesforce).

  • Strong understanding of B2B commercial, sales, and service, with the ability to turn strategic perspectives into concrete sales efficiencies and operational business improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, track record of delivering excellent results within tight timelines, excellent communication and cooperation skills, and high proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and leverage customer data and insights.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
