SENIOR CREDIT REPORTING ANALYST
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Senior Credit Risk Reporting Analyst is a critical leadership role within the 2LOD Credit Risk Reporting and Transformation team, responsible for bridging business requirements with technical delivery across the modernization initiative. This role combines technical expertise with deep credit risk domain knowledge to ensure successful transformation of credit risk reporting across CNB, CUSO, and Enterprise entities.The position leads the development, production, and documentation of credit risk reports and regulatory submissions while serving as a subject matter expert for both banking operations and regulatory requirements. The analyst will translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable project deliverables, manage risks and issues, and ensure alignment with the unified reporting vision.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead development of unified credit risk reporting across CNB, CUSO, and Enterprise entities
- Design standardized credit risk report templates and formats aligned with regulatory requirements
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc credit risk reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions
- Manage report production timelines and delivery schedules; coordinate with data engineering and BI teams
- Serve as Bank subject matter expert for credit risk and regulatory reporting requirements
- Communicate with Credit Risk leadership on reporting capabilities, timelines, and program progress
- Prepare executive summaries and communications for steering committees and leadership reviews
- Identify opportunities for reporting enhancements and efficiency improvements
- Analyze credit risk data trends to support business decision-making
- Recommend new metrics or analytical approaches to enhance credit risk visibility
- Support ad-hoc analyses requested by credit leadership and regulatory teams
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics or a related field like Information Systems or Business Analytics accompanied with eight (8) years of experience in the position or a related role. Or
- OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics or a related field such as Information Systems or Business Analytics accompanied with ten (10) years of experience in the position or a related role.
- 7+ years of experience in credit risk reporting, credit analytics, or financial reporting roles
- Proven experience developing and managing credit risk reports
- Strong background in regulatory reporting
- Stakeholder management and executive communication experience
- Deep understanding of credit risk concepts (credit rating, probability of default, loss given default, exposure at default)
- Knowledge of credit portfolio analysis and credit risk measurement
- Knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting principles
- Understanding of risk management frameworks and governance
- SQL Query Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Data Analysis & Manipulation. Extract, transform, and validate credit risk data. Perform data quality checks and reconciliation. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies
- Experience with modern BI tools for report and dashboard development
- Understanding of credit risk models and validation methodologies
- Knowledge of credit loss provisioning (IFRS 9, ECL models)
- Analyze credit portfolio composition and risk profile
- Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders (business, technical, regulatory)
- Ability to break down complex problems and develop practical solutions
- Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing transformation environment
- Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional partnership
- Some travel may be required
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $77,000 - $143,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
