Description

The Construction Coordinator will support the development team in ensuring the timely completion of construction projects while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Construction Oversight: Oversee the construction phase for all current projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Bill Processing: Complete all bill-backs with factories and related paperwork, and process contractor bills.
  • Project Files Management: Manage project files efficiently and ensure they are up to date.
  • Permit Coordination: Assist in obtaining necessary permits for construction work.
  • Scheduling & Service Coordination: Schedule all contracted work, set-up, delivery, and service-related activities with contractors and vendors.
  • Follow-Up: Follow up with contractors and vendors for service calls and updates.
  • Reporting and Audits: Assist with reporting and audits as needed.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the manager, team and Leadership to address questions, issues, and exceptions.
  • Teamwork: Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as needed.
  • Asset Protection: Safeguard company assets and interests.

Compensation:

As a Construction Coordinator with Clayton Homes, you will receive an hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $26.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication and customer relations skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and project management.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn company-specific software.
  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • A two-year degree is preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience is a plus.
