Job Description

The CSN CIT Cybersecurity area is currently looking for an part-time instructors for instructing in compliance courses. Responsibilities of a Part-Time Cybersecurity Instructor in the Computing and Information Technology department include but are not limited to:
  • Lecture and Lab instruction for Information Technology Courses. Course assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening and/or weekend classes. Courses may be delivered online, or be delivered as a hybrid, online and in person. 
  • Develop Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty. 
  • Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. 
  • Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development. 
Required Qualifications
  • Applicants will need at least a 4-year degree in a STEM or business area.
  • At least two years of experience working in compliance or directly with compliance areas or related IT field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related business fields.  
  • Teaching experience as a technical trainer or academic faculty.
