Commercial Underwriting Programs Officer
The Vice President, Commercial Underwriting Programs Officer will lead the Commercial Underwriting and Credit Support Center training programs. This role plans and oversees projects for Credit programs and Credit training initiatives. The Commercial Underwriting Programs Officer will also partner with Corporate Learning to develop credit curriculum for Commercial Bank, Commercial Underwriting, Business Loan Center and Credit Support Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management

  • With oversight from the Program Advancement Manager, develop and drive strategies for Commercial Underwriting Program and Commercial Credit Support training.
  • Partner with Corporate Learning to execute and deliver on strategy in line with development roadmap and to help manage the Commercial Underwriting Program and Credit Support Center Training.
  • Lead program orientation sessions, developmental workshops, executive forums, as well as large-scale, in-person training initiatives.
  • Use Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to contribute to and ensure effective delivery of content in program training sessions/presentations. Identify other SMEs to enhance program content.
  • Gather feedback, make recommendations, and implement changes for ongoing Credit program improvement.
  • Develop performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and monitor learner progress for each program.
Project Management
  • Develop, update, and oversee program revisions and projects for all credit programs and training initiatives
  • Plan, designate, and manage project resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Monitor progress and make adjustments, as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with Corporate Learning and key Business Partners to develop curriculum materials and deliver content.
Curriculum Development
  • Partner with HRCL and key Business Partners to develop curriculum materials and deliver content.
  • Update Credit curriculum and content to remain in line with requirements of Credit Policy, Procedures, and Underwriting Processes.
  • Use Subject Matter Expertise to contribute to curriculum development.
  • Expand curriculum, as needed, to address developmental needs of senior and experienced colleagues in the Commercial Underwriting and Credit Support Services roles to support career progression.
