Flowers Hospital located in Dothan, AL is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join a hospital-employed group.
- 100% inpatient role
- Procedures include thoracentesis, thoracostomy tube placement, needle aspiration, lumbar puncture
- Diagnose and provide comprehensive management of acute and chronic conditions of high-risk neonatal patients
- Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmocologic therapies
- Communicate with the families of neonates, providing information on the condition and plan for their baby in a compassionate manner
