Supply Chain Manager, sought by Sofidel America Corporation (Ft. Washington, PA). Manage the flow of materials from the storage of raw materials in different production sites to the delivery of finished products to clients. Optimize costs & generate value for the firm & end-use clients. Ensure activities namely, the information for the Production Committee; Check satisfaction level in the sales forecasting on the grounds of productive capacity; Coordinate peripheral offices; Seek the best possible product distribution on productive lines; Suggest innovative planning, methods & techniques aimed at the Group's improvement. Coordinate & guide logistic activities following established guidelines. Optimize logistics processes. Elaborate alternative & innovative solutions for logistics management.
Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation & logistics role in a paper-based manufacturing environment. Experience must include: In-depth knowledge of optimizing transport costs, & ensuring optimum service levels; Developing transportation solutions; Establishing & developing contacts with Customer's Logistics; Supporting Supply Chain Management to optimize the management of finished stocks in the Plant &/or external warehouse. Knowledge of MS Office programs & SAP system software. Ability to travel domestic & overseas (5%).
