Technician, Customer Relations

Department: Global digital platforms

Location: Laval (4204 Industrial Blvd., Laval)

Hybrid mode: 3 days at the Laval office and 2 days remotely

Type of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (Schedule subject to change)

THE ROLE

The Customer Relations Technician will be responsible for responding to customer questions and comments. They will also be responsible for communicating information to the various parties involved.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage the communications with external customers for Quebec and the Atlantic provinces (telephone, e-mail (website contact platform), postal mail);

  • Case management (follow-ups and/or verifications with relevant departments: accounting, marketing, sales, suppliers, claims/security, human resources, external business partners, coordinator, operations manager and managers);

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality work and responding to requests on time;

  • Maintain up-to-date database in computer system;

  • Report and account for comments received on a monthly basis;

  • Analyze and account for the monthly gift card report (cost breakdown by regions and accounts);

  • Follow-up on more complex situations and advise operations managers on various situations;

  • Other related tasks and projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education:

  • DEC or DEP in relevant training.

Experiences:

  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience.

Knowledge and skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point);

  • Exceptional active listening and communication skills, both verbal and written;

  • Ability to manage diverse situations in a positive and professional manner;

  • Analytical skills and good problem-solving judgment.

Language skills

  • Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
