Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt  Clinical Staff Pharmacist with our CPS Solutions, LLC TELEpharmacy team, you will perform clinical and staffing pharmacist duties from a office setting located in Guaynabo, with the latest resources and technology.  As a CPS TELEpharmacy Pharmacist, you will fill orders for client hospitals by logging into the hospital's order entry system remotely from the comfort of your own work station, located in the Buchanan Office Center in Guaynabo.  Using your pharmacy expertise, you will ensure accuracy by reviewing patient-specific laboratory data, medication orders, and the patient's medical history.  When necessary, you will interact via phone and through live-feed cameras with nurses and physicians to resolve issues and patient/medication related questions.

Salary Range: $55-$57/hr plus possible shift differential

Schedule: This position is does not have regularly scheduled hours, and works "as needed" to provide time off coverage for predominantly evening and overnight shifts. Shifts may vary in length, usually between 8 and 12 hours.

Setting: CPS TELEpharmacy is a division of CPS Solutions, LLC, that provides remote pharmacy services to Healthcare facilities throughout Puerto Rico from a centralized location in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.  This position entails a high degree of telephone customer service, and accuracy working on multiple screens.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)
  • Must have a Puerto Rico Pharmacist License & Certificate in good standing
  • Recent clinical experience from either a residency or work experience strongly preferred
  • May consider a recent graduate or new graduate with hospital internship experience or hospital rotations
  • May consider pharmacists with long-term-care or retail experience with recent clinical experience
  • Experience and skill with pharmacy technology and software
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Skilled, efficient data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must speak fluent Spanish
  • Must reside in Puerto Rico
