Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager 
Methodist Hospital Southlake
Merrillville, IN

As the full-time, exempt Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager with CPS Solutions, LLC you will be responsible for supervising the company's rehabilitation operation at the client hospital to which assigned. Performs in a leadership capacity, having primary responsibility for the implementation of company-specific programs to be provided to client hospitals.

Schedule: This full-time, exempt position will work at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, day shift with on-call as needed.

About the Facility: Methodist Hospitals are a not-for-profit, community-based healthcare system.  Methodist has two full-service campuses just 14 miles apart.  Northlake is the urban campus in Gary, while the Southlake campus in Merrillville is located near one of the Midwest's busiest retail areas.  The combined campus bed capacity is 625 plus nurseries. The Midlake campus is the outpatient facility in Gary, conveniently located between the Northlake and Southlake campuses.  With the latest in technology and outstanding services, this hospital system is the leading healthcare provider in the region.  The hospital system is accredited through the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).  Both locations provide rehabilitation services to adult patients and Northlake Inpatient also provides rehabilitation services to pediatric and NICU patients. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this Rehabilitation Department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Rehabilitation Services Departments: Inpatient Rehabilitation departments for each location are open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-5:30 pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited College or School of Physical or Occupational therapy with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Must be licensed in good standing as a physical or occupational therapist or speech-language pathologist in the state of Indiana
  • 3+ years of recent Director/Manager of inpatient experience is required, preferably in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications, and involvement with professional organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns, and work cooperatively with other staff

Clinic Medical Requirements: 

  • 2-Step (PPD) TB Skin Test 
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Hep B Series or proof of immunity
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th 
  • Covid-19 Vaccination (required)
