Pharmacy Technician
Methodist Hospital Southlake

As a full time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Methodist Hospital Southlake, you'll assist in various pharmacy activities, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and other duties not requiring the review of a pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records, and setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion. Based upon business needs, this position may also be scheduled to cover the overnight shift or work at the Northlake campus in Gary.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week on a rotating day and evening schedule. This position will also work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Indiana Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
