Pharmacy Technician - Full Time
Hospital for Behavioral Medicine
Worcester, MA


As a full-time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications utilizing Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. We do not compound sterile products.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

About the Facility: The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine, located in Worcester MA, is a 120-bed psychiatric hospital situated near the campus of the University of Massachusetts. HBM provides mental health and chemical dependency care for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Treatment services include free initial screenings, assessment, inpatient and outpatient services, and aftercare referrals. Patients can expect a safe, caring environment with trained physicians, nurses, counselors, and technicians who will provide outstanding care for individuals and families. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on weekends from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • MA Pharmacy Technician License active and in good standing
  • PTCB Certification required
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written


Hospital Requirements:

  • (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • Covid-19 Vaccination
