Speech Language Pathologist
Parrish Health & Wellness Center at Cheney Highway

As a full time, exempt Speech Language Pathologist with CPS Solutions, LLC Rehabilitation Services team at both Parrish Medical Center's outpatient center in Port St. John and at Cheney Highway, you are responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability.
Schedule: This full time position will be scheduled to work 32 hours per week.

About the Port St. John Rehabilitation Department: Specialty services include Vestibular Rehab and hand therapy to those who are 18 year of age and older. Department hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm and as needed to provide support for Parrish Medical Center outpatient services.
About the Facility: Parrish Health & Wellness Center at Cheney Highway is an outpatient center offering two fitness pools including a lap pool and a warm water pool. CPS Solutions LLC has partnered with the hospital through its division CPS Rehabilitation Services to manage the day to day operations of the rehabilitation department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Rehabilitation Department: Department core hours are Monday-Sunday from 7:00am-4:00pm and as needed to support acute care hospital rehab staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology
- Florida Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing
- At least one year of acute care experience preferred
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- (Flu) Influenza-acceptance or declination for hires between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Respirator FIT Mask Test - Onsite
- Color test
- COVID vaccination (required)
