This technician will be primarily posted at Main Campus with 8 hour shifts, but has the ability to work 10 hour shifts at SuperOne and will be part of the weekend rotation there.

We are looking for an organized, self-directed pharmacy technician who can exhibit strong judgement in a positive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be able to process prescriptions, work with billing and insurance, navigate point of sale equipment, maintain inventory, communicate appropriately and effectively with customers and other staff, and have a strong eye for quality management.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Minnesota driver's license


• Must have a High School Diploma


• Successful completion of the pharmacy nomenclature standards as administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff.


• Completion of a Certified Pharmacy Technician course (preferred)


• If not already certified, must complete the certified Pharmacy Technician course (CPhT) or possess certification within 2 years of hire


• Qualify to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy prior to first day of employment


• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows


• Ability to work with a calculator, point of sales technology, and fax machine
