The AVP, CSM FP&A is a key finance leader within the broader CSM Finance Organization.  This position will be required to interact directly with CSM Leadership team who are responsible for growth and financial performance. This position will interact mainly with the VP & CFO, CSM and SVP of CSM and numerous VPs and Executive Directors of Actuarial, MEU and Finance.  This position reports directly to the VP & CFO, CSM. The position will lead a team responsible for developing the assumptions, analyzing the results, and providing meaningful and insightful reporting on the key drivers of our annual budgets, financial forecasts and monthly results. This leader will also collaborate with other Finance leaders to ensure that our membership, pricing, and profitability assumptions are consistently applied across all the CSM business segments.  In addition, this role will oversee the consolidation of gross margin reporting for the various business segments within CSM (i.e. National, Regions and DCS), including the development of key metrics and analytics. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate a highly matrixed organization and collaborate across the Regions, Network, Actuarial, Underwriting, and Finance to support our growth strategy and ensure operational excellence. This individual will continually strive to challenge the status quo, improve processes, maximize profitability, enhance internal controls, and create simplicity. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with key leaders from across the business in planning, evaluation, and goal setting for key strategic growth initiatives. * Lead the development of the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plan in partnership with the business leadership team, with a focus on setting achievable growth targets and providing insights and analysis in support of achieving the operating plan * Oversee the enhancement of core FP&A, including enhanced processes and better real-time insights on volume and revenue trends, and deeper analytics on gross margin trends and drivers * Provide support for a variety of finance / business needs, including the development of monthly and quarterly reporting packages, budget presentations for senior leadership, and day-to-day ad-hoc analyses * Be a strategic partner with CSM Leadership to determine and execute on growth strategies, financial targets and overall margin requirements of the product lines Required Qualifications: * 15+ years related financial management experience including strategic and business planning, financial analysis and operations in a financial services or healthcare business * Demonstrated experience leading teams in an executive role * Experience leading a large and complex organization Preferred Qualifications: * Credentialed Actuary *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $157,800.00 - $363,900.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
