As a Care Management Associate, you will help support Public and Labor to provide comprehensive coordination of medical services for the plan membership.
As part of the Patient Management team, your daily job functions will include: answering incoming calls from providers and members regarding precertification or pre-registration for surgical procedures; coordinating with appropriate nurses; verifying eligibility; referring/transferring callers to appropriate departments/clinical staff; and providing excellent customer service. You will use ATV, and other software programs to enter data, research information and document your daily activities.
The job responsibilities require the ability to learn multiple processes and complete them consistently, efficiently and in compliance with detailed policy & procedures.
• Experience in a production environment.

• Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment such as a call center or retail location preferred, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.
2-4 years experience as a medical assistant, office assistant, or customer service representative experience, computer literacy, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook, superb ability to multitask and problem solve, knowledge of medical terminology, and a strong desire to provide the highest customer service experience possible.
High School or GED equivalent.
