The responsibilities of a Pharmacy Services Representative I/ Call Doctor are to communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain patient prescription information, with patients to determine and coordinate individual prescription needs and with team members to resolve issues relating to patient orders. Also, partnering with pharmacists to make outbound calls to healthcare professionals to obtain clarification on prescription orders as well as calling CVS retail locations for prescription transfers. Provide excellent customer service to the outbound patient and healthcare professional calls to obtain new prescription information. Detail the Anonymity policy to patients and appropriately document in the system to ensure compliance with the patient's request. Review patient profiles to determine patient needs and understand specific patient requests. Identify order specifications (i.e. Over the Counter and Narcotic medications) and clarify special requirements or actions to be taken with patient and pharmacist. The document was dispensing quantities and make necessary changes to order based on patient requests. Place outgoing calls to verify prescription refills, new prescriptions, and modifications to therapy. Review patient profiles to understand particular specific patient needs and prescription requests. Utilize "Contact prescriber" and manual processes in the prioritization of patient medication needs and communicate with the patient to ensure timely shipment of the order. Communicate and build supportive relationships with team referral sources to resolve issues relating to patient and prescription information under the direction of a pharmacist. Update patient profiles and complete necessary documentation and paperwork.
Perform duties of a PSR1 as necessary to ensure excellent customer service is achieved and company goals are met.Provide excellent customer service through the acceptance of incoming patient calls to take prescription orders,answer questions,and resolve issues with accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
year customer service experience in a pharmacy/and or medical office or call center environment.

Possess the ability to pass a background check, drug screen and successfully complete a virtual job preview

PC proficiency in Windows-based applications and internet skills, navigation and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications include attention to details and accuracy, attention to customer focus to ensure patients and referral sources are responded to with accurate and timely information; ability to work independently as well as in teams; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external departments as well as physician's offices and patients

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
