This position will collaborate with Clinical experts, Product, Data Engineering to deliver high impact analytical solution to improve member health and optimize current programs. To succeed in this role, you must be able to: * Write complex and efficient SQL code and leverage Exploratory Data Analysis techniques to develop insights from medical claims data that drives business strategy * Conduct rigorous retrospective study with advanced statistical method such as propensity score weighting and targeted maximum likelihood estimation * Design, execute and evaluate different A/B testing * Build machine learning, deep learning and statistical predictive models that can be used for different outreach program * Collaborate efficiently with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop appropriate analytics / data science approach to solve these problems, and execute predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics accordingly. * Manage key delivery milestones and timeline independently, proactively communicate challenges * Use strong knowledge in algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions * Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms * Stay on top of the current technology and bring innovations into the work *Required Qualifications* * Master with 1+ years of hands-on experience in data science or Bachelor with 2+ years of experience * Solid foundation in statistics and machine learning (either through training or work experience) * Expert proficiency with Python * Strong proficiency with Github and SQL *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) * Experience with causal inference / experimental design * Experience / Knowledge in healthcare *Education* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. * Master's degree or PhD preferred *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $72,100.00 - $175,100.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
