Software Development Engineer role includes closely working with a team of engineers to drive delivery excellence, partner with business and other IT leaders to build digital assets, provide expert level support to resolve complex issues and provide RCA, identify gaps in systems in current digital eco system and provide solutions to enhance overall performance. All of this is critical to driving Digital growth and improving customer experience. This Engineer will collaborate with digital leaders, business partners, and IT colleagues to deliver business growth and great customer experiences that differentiate CVS in the market, while ensuring efficient, effective, and safe product development. Production support on a rotational basis Required Qualifications: * 8+ years professional IT experience * 7+ years software development and requirement analysis, design experience * 5+ years Node Experience * 3+ years Development experience for projects delivered via Agile SCRUM, and/or SAFE * 2+ years of experience working in GCP environment with exposure to various applications deployed into GCP Preferred Qualifications: * Strong desire to automate everything * Experience with scripting – JavaScript * An understanding of application deployment patterns and best practices * Database knowledge MySQL, MariaDB, Mongo DB, Data Modeling concepts * Knowledge of Enterprise Gateway Solutions * Best practices implementing End to End, Unit Testing & Integration Testing * Active-Active Site implementation of software Application * GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker Experience with SAFe Software Development Methodologies * Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI/Harness * Expert experience leveraging container-based technologies *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $94,500.00 - $196,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
