You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role. The Summer 2024 program will run June 3rd - August 9th, 2024. Virtual onboarding activities will take place May 29th -31st, 2024. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in one of the following office locations based on your preference: * Woonsocket, RI * Hartford, CT * Richardson, TX The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. The Analytics & Behavior Change organization is an innovation engine supporting the entire CVS Health organization (Aetna health care business, retail, and pharmacy services) by embedding deep insights into key decision processes and focusing on our biggest, most complex problems. We partner with business leaders throughout the organization using advanced analytics tools, modeling, and machine learning to generate insights by using data to create meaningful impact. As part of Analytics & Behavior Change, Enterprise Data Services & Operations focuses on building a modern, connected data ecosystem that accelerates the use of data, analytics, cloud services, and advanced AI that: • Uses federated data from the business to democratize it across enterprise initiatives • Enables real-time data access • Instills standards that facilitate more complete, accurate and consistent data for insights and operational/compliance reporting. Our business area supports Pharmacy, Retail, and Health Care Benefits data as well as Identity strategies to integrate data and customer services consistently across the enterprise. You will gain valuable work experience: • Working with analytics teams and our business partners to understand their goals and objectives • Using programming skills, predictive/statistical modeling, and analysis of structured and unstructured data • Generating insights connecting analytical results with business problems/goals and presenting recommendations to internal teams and business partners • Learning and applying Agile/SAFe Methodology and thinking strategically • Participating in professional development workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, and meetings with senior leaders *Education:* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree. You must have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Health Data Science. *Required Qualifications:* • Meet educational requirements (see education section) • Knowledge of data science techniques including statistical analysis and modeling *Preferred Qualifications:* • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability • Ability to clearly present technical concepts and implications to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects • Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare • Experience in R or Python and SQL • Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation Work visa sponsorship is available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
