CVS Health is looking for a Director Enterprise Initiatives to lead the strategic planning and managing of major initiatives and/or programs being conducted across business units and the most complex process and cost improvement initiatives, as they relate Enterprise Modernization.
As the Director you will be a vital team member on the Enterprise Modernization team, reporting to the Sr. Director and will be responsible for the overall results and deliverables related to the individual initiatives and will collaborate with consultant teams, cross-functional colleagues and senior leadership across several business units to be successful.
You will be a key strategic thought leader and partner with executives and single point of contact for enterprise strategic initiatives under your oversight. You are a strategic thinker and influential leader who maintains a systematic approach to sizing opportunities, developing businesses cases as well as overseeing implementation. You'll develop and implement solutions which drive operational transformation leading to better customer, member or colleague experiences in addition to driving cost savings.
Once opportunities have been identified and prioritized, the Director uses healthcare business knowledge, management consulting skills, innovation frameworks, processes skills, change management and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements & tools to analyze issues, develop and implement solutions which drive operational transformation predominately at an enterprise level. You will need to develop strong relationships with senior executives and business units especially within (areas) to execute projects and maximize impact.
**This position is Work From Home/Remote eligible with the expectation to be available for Central & East Coast time zone schedules.**
10+ years of business experience in a health insurance, health care, or pharmacy benefit management company
5+ years of experience leading large, cross-BU operational transformation and process improvement initiatives in large organizations
3+ years of management consulting experience with an internal team or management consulting firm
Strong operational knowledge of a health insurance, pharmacy benefit management or pharmacy retail business preferred
Experience with consulting methodologies and frameworks including innovation, analysis, expertise in operating models, governance, visual storyboarding methodologies, change management and process re-engineering
Strong program management, interpersonal and influencing skills, communications, and executive presentation skills (PMP preferred).
Expert facilitation skills to focus on clear accountabilities and driving results.
Strong understanding of finance and budgeting
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. PMP certification/licensure also preferred.
