Duties include: guide the work of digital development engineers building next generation platforms to enable the delivery of use cases and products that help people live healthier lives; provide technical leadership for digital transformation projects for e-commerce leveraging Java/J2EE stack, Microservices, open source frameworks, and Cloud technologies; coordinate between business and technical aspects of projects and collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, and engineers to achieve elegant solutions; brainstorm with architects, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build data products that improve the health outcomes of millions of people; architect, design, and develop cloud scalable services in a containerized and CI/CD environment; provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms; develop recommendations for continuous improvement and monitor project milestones and deliverables; provide technical leadership for team direction, determine and develop approaches to solutions, and coordinate multiple resources to identify and resolve problems; support career development for junior engineers by providing advice, coaching and mentoring, and grow the engineering team by interviewing, recruiting and hiring top talent; collaborate with teams to brainstorm and create new products, take ownership of services and applications at scale, and plan and prioritize project stages; ensure adherence to software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations; provide technical guidance in software design and development activities, participate in design reviews, and recommend improvements; and support all phases of the software development life cycle to ensure delivery of high-quality products. Multiple Openings. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Also requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); SAFe Agile Methodologies; Windows XP; Oracle 9i; Toad; PL/SQL Developer; Unix Shell scripting; and Autosys, REMEDY, and Heat. Telecommuting available. *Pay Range:* $187907.00/year to $280000.00/year.
