We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* Our IT professionals create best-in-class solutions that integrate technology, information and business processes. They keep applications, systems, networks and processes up and running so employees, members, providers and plan sponsors stay connected with needed tools and information.   *Responsibilities:* Manages a staff responsible for the technical aspects of the system development and implementation process. Specific components include analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for application systems. Selects and builds strong functional teams through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring, and other development techniques. Manages and is responsible for development of IT project cost estimates, and assessment of potential risks. Directs and implements strategic direction and policy within area. Promotes and directs the reuse of assets across the organization. Participate and communicate hire, fire, compensation, and performance decisions. Organizes and controls the activities of the team. Management of team resources and directs their activities. Reviews, evaluates and prepares periodic performance reports of own staff. Prepares and communicates progress on team activity. Identifies key resource conflicts and negotiate resolution across projects. Ensures technical design of project and baseline work is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture direction. Utilizes reuse and component build where applicable. Manages the selection, evaluation, contracting, and integration of externally available application software to deliver business system solutions. Enforces the utilization of accepted methodology & tools in a disciplined manner. Responsible for ensuring the vendor teams are adhering to Aetna and individual application standards.   *Required Qualifications* 6+ years' experience in application program development. *Education* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent  experience *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $97,335.00 - $201,900.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
