Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Data Engineering to plan, initiate, and implement information technology (IT) projects for data engineering and analytics. Duties include: work with business and technical partners to develop the platform architecture to support marketing and clinical campaigns; lead and guide the work of Data Engineers and serve as subject matter expert for assigned projects designing campaigns and technical architecture; work with Data Scientists to create an end-to-end campaign flow and to productionalize campaign artifacts including predictive models; assign duties to project personnel and identify and resolve problems; create data pipelines to enable campaign data to flow between different sources; design cross-platform campaign architecture to enhance overall adaptability of platforms; provide project status updates regarding objectives, schedules, and staffing; own assigned targeting platform and act as subject matter expert to oversee development and resolve issues pertaining to campaign development across platforms; and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources; SAS and SQL; Databases: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Presenting findings and cost feasibility matrix to leadership; and Serving as liaison for multiple teams working with extended team. Position also requires six (6) months of experience in each of the following: Python; Machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling; Unix or Linux; and Data modeling, predictive modeling, data mining, process automation, and visualization. Pay Range: $90000.00/year to $180000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
