Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Digital Engineering to Plan, initiate, and manage enterprise software and information technology (IT) projects. Duties include: allocate work to the application support team supervise the roadmap planning and architectural strategies of the project development; provide architectural decisions for the project implementation; trace complex production and build problems, release issues and environment issues in a multi-component environment; implement design patterns and orchestrating the flow of projects; coordinate product design and establishment of requirements; ensure continuous monitoring of test results and streamline the process methodologies; review and oversee projects that operate on cross technology platforms; resolve cross dependencies before the project execution to ensure seamless delivery; monitor system upgrades, migration, and other IT functionalities and application modules, such as data migration and disaster recovery planning/testing; manage defects, provide mitigation approaches, manage stakeholder communication to bring defects to closure; prepare project implementation plans in consultation with Business stakeholders and technology team; manage the baseline effort and staff levels during delivery execution; allocate buffer resources to the team based on project needs; manage staff utilization; track the daily and weekly effort of the resources and provide necessary suggestions and comments for improvement; set goals and define roles and responsibility for resources to align with project and organization goals; motivate and guide team leads; suggest training and certification courses to team; implement and ensure compliance with appropriate quality standards for the project work; and strategize and formulate risk mitigation policies for the project development. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Java and J2EE; ATG Commerce or Spring Boot microservices; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; Hibernate; Docker or Kubernetes; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Oracle, MySQL, or MariaDB; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; and Software development lifecycle. Pay Range: $94500.00/year to $196000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
