Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Informatics to formulate and apply mathematical and optimizing methods to develop and interpret information. Duties include: design and develop analytical and reporting capabilities to support health care policy, benefits, and business operations using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices; generate reports and dashboards for business leaders and stakeholders to support strategic objectives, and synthesize trend data to support recommendations that improve population health management; extract and manipulate data from multiple large data sources and deliver predictive models that inform solutions for in-house teams; utilize data-oriented programming languages and visualization software to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and translate results for analytic and non-analytic business audiences; test analytic solutions, review results, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend next steps to achieve business defined objectives; visualize and interpret data and create reports, manipulate data using statistical software, and compare models using statistical performance metrics; and support deployment of insights across teams to build and improve processes that have a meaningful business impact. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Information Technology and Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Analytics experience within the retail and/or healthcare industries; Programming in Java, Python, or R; SAS or SQL programming languages; Hadoop and Hive; Visualization tools, including Tableau or PowerBI; “Big data” platforms including Hadoop: Azure, GCP, or AWS; Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; and Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases. Pay Range: $100900.00/year to $136500.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
